Job Description

The successful candidate will have above-average abilities to meet the high standards set by our Company.

Copy Review: Copy Editing, Brand Voice, and Compliance

  • Review copy based on a style guide checklist for each doctor we represent
  • Review copy based on compliance checklist for social media sites and FTC
  • Review copy for spelling and grammar
  • Give feedback on copy that is confusing, boring or unbelievable

Research Assistance

  • Help research health topics for copywriters
  • Source and annotate clinical trials and studies
  • Help prioritize or point out best research studies
  • Contribute ideas to copy team brainstorms.

Software

  • Google Docs
  • Microsoft Word
  • Google Sheets

Qualifications

Skills:

  • High attention to detail
  • Has a research mentality (go down several rabbit holes)
  • Strong discernment for “cool” or interesting/weird ideas
  • Read and understand clinical trial abstracts
  • Extremely careful about annotating source material

Prerequisites

  • Preferred – Has university/college degree OR journalist/scientific research background
  • Understands DR copywriting and marketing
