Snippet is seeking a Researcher / Writer for an upcoming true crime podcast. You will conduct extensive research into the crime in question and write outlines & scripts for the host to read on-air.

Responsibilities include:

– conducting in-depth research on show topics

– tracking and maintaining a list of credible sources

– preparing interview notes and presentation scripts for host’s use

– writing outlines and communicating with the production team

– interfacing with host as needed

– staying on top of timelines

Qualifications:

– knowing how to go beyond a Google search to find facts and ideas

– having a passion for storytelling and an understanding of true crime/mysteries

– ideally having academic experience in journalism

– being an organized and efficient worker
